Chevrolet skipped a year with the Trax not due to a lack of demand but global supply chain issues that were affecting the entire industry while it was in the middle of a redesign. This latest Trax is an all new. It kicks off the second Trax generation and has more standard equipment than ever before.
Every new 2024 Chevrolet Trax has a six-speed automatic transmission that distributes power to the front wheels. All-wheel drive is not an option. That six-speed is paired with a fuel-efficient, turbocharged 1.2L three-cylinder engine that outputs 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque.
The base equipment package for the 2024 Chevrolet Trax in Chino at M K Smith Chevrolet includes an 8-inch infotainment touch screen, onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, a rearview camera system, automatic high-beam headlamps, forward collision warning with automatic braking and lane departure warning with mitigation. The LT, 2RS and ACTIV add an 11-inch touch screen. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic warning is optional with all trims, and adaptive cruise control is optional with the 2RS and ACTIV.

Push-button ignition is included as standard equipment beyond the base trim, and you have the option of an entry keypad with all trims. The LS is among the most impressive base trims in the class. The 1RS has a sportier look and feel and includes the main LS optional package. The LT adds many amenities and technologies. The 2RS essentially marries the 1RS and LT trim levels, and the ACTIV is an alternative to the 2RS with a more off-road-oriented rather than sportier appeal.

There are 10 exterior colors available for the 2024 Chevrolet Trax in Chino. Most are standard choices included in the MSRP. The exceptions are Cayenne Orange Metallic, Fountain Blue and Nitro Yellow Metallic. Those colors require a small additional charge.
